Hi there - thanks for your inquiry! Installation of our Power Boards does not mount or block access to the factory jacking points on the vehicle. Power Boards are also not to be utilised as a jacking point under any circumstances as they are not designed for that purpose.

The Next Gen top mirror is a flat mirror which gives a 1:1 ratio - in that what you see in the mirror, is where it is, without any distortion that a convex mirror will provide. We do offer replacement convex mirrors on our website if you'd like to replace your flat mirror glass with a convex mirror glass. Jase's powerboards lasted 3 seasons before we replaced his original set. (Which were damaged when he snagged a sizeable boulder on the tracks) When you consider his more extreme 4WDing adventures, we're extremely happy with how the power boards performed. They aren't designed to be rock sliders, but have proven that they cope well on 4x4 tracks.

In order to have the mirrors positioned closer to the vehicle so that they look factory when not towing, the mirrors need to be wider to hold all the extended cable that is required when the mirrors are extended outwards for towing.

Hi Geoff, Thanks for your message! Can I just confirm which mirrors you have? We do have the Originals which are very large and generally for serious towing, but have since launched the newer smaller towing mirrors which extend out as far as the Original Mirrors but retract to virtually the factory profile of the standard mirrors they replace! When set to their normal driving position, the mirrors remain unobtrusive during your daily commute when you don’t need extended mirrors, or when you need to fit into tight spaces.

@@CLEARVIEWACCESSORIES Hi and thanks for your reply. I did not mean any criticism of your mirrors, like I say they are great for towing but very difficult to park a 200 lc in any car park today lol. I do not have them fitted to my vehicle for that reason but I did look at them and was impressed. Yes I have seen the smaller version,but as I do not tow my caravan very often I have yet to decide. Thanks again
